Admission to the school is limited to a maximum of 30 participants affiliated (living or working) within region 8: Europe, Middle East or Africa.
Students, academics and industry personnel are encouraged to register. However, a majority of places will be reserved for students until June 16, 2023, and non-students may be placed on a waiting list. After June 16, 2023, all remaining places will be made available for non-students. All successful applications will be notified by email on June 30, 2023; details regarding registration payments will follow shortly after.
Admittance to the course is in principle based on the following selection criteria: (1) diversity in country of origin, affiliation and gender, and (2) personal motivation. Other factors that play a role are that students are preferred over non-students and first come first serve base. Note that the organizing committee may decide differently if they believe it is beneficial for the course.
Students who apply need to provide (1) an application letter explaining why they want to attend the course, (2) a signed letter of support from their academic supervisor, and (3) IEEE-UFFC membership details.

The registration fees are structured as follows:

- The registration fee includes all hotel costs, food, course materials, including lab supplies.
